I love 1980's baseball cards, and one of my favorite years are the wood grain 1987 Topps. I've seen various blogs and Twitter accounts of collectors who highlight their collections and I thought I would try. For me, I had to start with 1987. About 10 days ago I bid on and won a rack pack box (24 packs) of 1987 Topps. So I'll be opening the packs one by one, resisting the urge to open them all at once in the process of putting together the complete 1987 Topps set. Along the way I'll highlight some of the more popular cards in the set and some of my favorite ones.
