Jamie Moyer was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 6th round of the 1984 MLB June Amateur Draft. His major league debut was on June 16, 1986 for the Cubs in a game against the Philadelphia Phillies. He pitched 6 1/3 innings, allowed 8 hits, struck out 2, walked 3, allowed 4 earned runs and got his first win. He would pitch in the major leagues for 25 years and play for 8 different teams.
